Italy is a privileged partner of the Institut national du patrimoine. The Institute has been forging cooperative links with Italy since the 1990s through exchanges and agreements.
Quelques dates
2024: Organisation of a bi-national training course in partnership with the FSBAC for French and Italian professionals on the theme of "Managing storage spaces: participants, tools, perspectives".
June 2023: Participation in international and bilateral meetings organised in Italy: G20 Culture working group, Franco-Italian exchanges on heritage sciences, etc.
March 2023: Organisation of a collections study field school at the Church of San Luigi dei Francesi in Rome with student curators from the Institute.
November 2022: Signing of cooperation agreements with the Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali (FSBAC) and the Istituto centrale per il restauro, and strengthening of links with the Università degli studi di Roma "La Sapienza" (Sapienza) University.
October 2009: Organisation of a field-school for the Institute's student conservator-restorers at the site of the church of Santa Maria del Suffragio following the earthquake in L'Aquila. This project was followed up in 2014 and 2016.
Since 1993: Hosting of Italian students and professionals on the Institute's training courses and sending students from the Institute to Italian institutions as part of internships abroad.
