The Institut offers online jury reports, bibliographies and other useful tools for students and heritage professionals.
Jury reports for competitions
The jury's report on the recruitment competitions for heritage curators and territorial heritage curators is drawn up under the responsibility of the jury chairman. Its purpose is to highlight the main trends and lessons to be learned from each session, and its careful and exhaustive reading should enable future candidates to prepare in the best possible conditions.
The jury reports for the entrance examinations for the master's degree in heritage conservator-restorer (1st year entrance examination and direct entrance examination for 2nd, 3rd and 4th years), drawn up under the responsibility of the jury chairmen, provide future candidates with guidance on what is expected of them. These reports contain the subjects of the eligibility and admission tests, as well as examples of the best analysis and commentary papers on illustrations, the science answer keys and the best papers in the various practical tests.
Bibliographies
The bibliographies are produced as part of teaching or training modules for heritage professionals. They do not claim to be exhaustive, but provide references to a number of essential tools that are readily available to help these professionals in their work.
Chronology of fundamental texts on heritage
This corpus brings together the fundamental texts on heritage preservation covering the period 1787 - 1914, which are available in digital reference libraries (Gallica, INHA, etc.). Born of the Revolution, the emergence of an awareness of heritage in the 19th century led to the implementation of a policy and an administration responsible for identifying, protecting, restoring and disseminating to all a heritage that had become common property. 26 texts organised in an interactive timeline can be consulted and downloaded directly from this page, supplemented by texts that have also been published and are available from the Inp resource centre.
Training files
The dossiers are produced by the document resource centre, with the scientific collaboration of the coordinators and contributors to the continuing education courses organised by the curatorial department. These methodological tools are a reflection on the identification, protection and enhancement at the heart of the heritage professions, accompanying the strategies and projects of establishments.
